the wrinkles collection was made for my master graduation in which i combined my passion for ceramic vases and nature, using different wrinkly vegetables, flower structures and folded paper lanterns, pouring them into a new porcelain jacket;
i based myself on the japanese world view wabi sabi which shows the beauty of everyday objects with small imperfections and the impermanence and transience of nature.. the purity, details and true identity of nature are retained and are laid down permanently in white simplicity. |
